7 out of 10 airlines bypass the law, forcing people to call customer service payphones
FACUA has reported 27 airlines to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and the consumer protection authorities of the 17 autonomous communities.

Seven out of ten airlines break the law by forcing people with user inquiries and complaints to call payphones. This is evidenced by an analysis carried out by FACUA-Consumers in Action on the web pages of 33 airlines, of which it has denounced 27 before Alberto Garzón (the Minister of Consumer Affairs) and the consumer protection authorities of the 17 autonomous communities.
Of the 33 airlines analyzed, only six offer free telephone lines (Air Nostrum, Alitalia, Eurowings, Norwegian, S7 and Vueling) for customer service, whether they are customers or not. Another three provide free lines, but restrict them to certain procedures or do not display them correctly on their website (British Airways, Iberojet and Ryanair).
