Government backs supermarkets limiting product purchases while inflating prices

Following the complaints filed by FACUA-Consumers in Action against a dozen supermarkets and hypermarkets for violating the trade law by limiting the purchase of sunflower oil while inflating prices, the Government has reacted with a statement in which it supports the measure and practically gives them carte blanche to apply it to other products without announcing any investigation into the matter.
